An elected Liberal Government will provide better access for girls to participate in community sport by delivering $242,000 to the Crib Point Football Netball Club to build new female change rooms and facilities.
Zoe McKenzie MP, Liberal Member for Flinders, has secured this commitment to ensure that girls have equal opportunity to participate in their sport of choice, here in Crib Point.
“Iāve had strong feedback from the Crib Point Football Netball Club about the need for better facilities for the girls,ā Ms McKenzie said.
Adam Bamford, President of the Crib Point Football Netball Club, welcomed this commitment.
āThis vital upgrade to the Crib Point Sporting precinct will better support dozens of local sporting groups and hundreds of women and girls, but also the broader community.Ā Thank you to Zoe for fighting for and delivering this project for our community,ā said Mr Bamford.
āThis project will add dedicated girlsā bathrooms at the Crib Point home grounds. Iāll always listen to and deliver for our community. The Liberals have a track record of delivery in the Mornington Peninsula,ā Ms McKenzie said.
This commitment is part of the Liberalsā plan to strengthen our local communities and to get Australia back on track. To read more about our plan, visit https://www.liberal.org.au/our-plan.
