An elected Liberal Government will fund upgrades for the Birdrock Beach access stairs.
Liberal Member for Flinders, Zoe McKenzie MP, has secured this commitment of $260,000 to protect the natural environment while allowing the community to enjoy our natural environment.
“We live in the most beautiful part of Australia, and our coastal lifestyle is something that we don’t take for granted. We should be able to access our amazing coastline, but in a way that is safe for the community which also preserves the natural environment.
“The Birdrock Beach access stairs were closed in late 2022 due to damage, and since then, have been unsafe and inaccessible.”
“This funding will restore safe access to the beach, while still protecting our precious coastline,” Ms McKenzie said.
This commitment is part of the Liberals’ plan to protect our local environment and get Australia back on track.
