At the March budget, the Labor Government announced a new Medicare Urgent Care Clinic in Somerville.
Recent tender documents indicate they now intend to shift it to Hastings.
I welcome much-needed investment in our area from the Government. Hastings is a wonderful part of my electorate, well-deserving of greater medical facilities, and only about 15 minutes’ drive from Somerville.
But when governments make big undertakings to our community, locals deserve to see them delivered where and how they were promised, or at least be consulted on a significant change.
So I want to hear your thoughts: Is Somerville being short-changed? Or does Hastings need it more? Please use the form below to let me know!
