Mornington Peninsula locals are being asked to cast their vote for the best local photo as part of Zoe McKenzie MP’s 2022 Flinders Christmas Card Competition.
The top photo, as selected by the community, will be given pride of place on this year’s Flinders Christmas card, with runners up to be displayed in Ms McKenzie’s electorate and parliamentary offices in Somerville and Canberra.
Ms McKenzie congratulated all of the top ten candidates and called on local residents to pick their favourite photo of the Peninsula.
“When I started this competition, I said that the Mornington Peninsula is one of the most beautiful parts of Australia. These photos prove me right, they are superb,” Ms McKenzie said.
“From dozens of entrants, my office has picked out the top ten, each of which captures very special parts of the Mornington Peninsula.”
“The best photo in the top ten, decided by local residents, will be the main photo of my 2022 Christmas card, which will be distributed across Australia.”
“I thank everyone who entered and wish all of our finalists good luck for this next stage of the competition.”
Voting will close at 5pm on Friday, October 28.
